The Voice of Poland is known to be one of the most prestigious TV productions in Poland and also a reference event for lighting and video in the TV industry. The Voice of Poland was recorded in the ATM studios in Warsaw,  a modern and large facility which brings together 7 studios and home of some of the most successful TV productions in Poland. 

 

The 2017 edition left a mark with one of the most impressive setups ever made using a wide range of Prolights fixtures.

Artur Szyman has been entrusted as Lighting Designer and Director of Photography for The Voice of Poland and he took responsibility for  artistic, visual and technical direction of the format. Artur is a famous face in Polish TV, having put his hands and creativity in numerous productions and having followed previous editions of TVoP.

 

Artur Szyman commented about the experience with the Prolights products: “ I was aware that Prolights fixtures were well performing and collecting lot of consents in several tours and rental productions in Poland. When I was designing the lighting and video concept for TVoP, and knowing that ATM could supply this equipment, it was a good opportunity to try them in a TV application, where quality and refinement of the details are on top of my checklist. The fixtures have done the job and have also shown to be very reliable....

STARKBAR1000 collects high brightness, optical precision and high flexibility due to the wide zoom range from 3° to 45°. PANORAMAIPAB despite the high output offers high quality beam, fat but consistent and crisp in cameras. I finally had a lot of fun with the SUNBLAST strobes. They not only show an impressive output, but also limitless possibilities through the pixel control and the advanced effects generator on board. It's like having 3 fixtures in 1.” 

 

The Prolights set of fixtures has been supplied from ATMs Rental/Production division, and its Technical director Wojciech Lampkowski comments on Prolights: “TVoP is one of the most high level productions we ever hosted in ATM studios and both Artur and the technical crew were very happy with the performance, the quality and reliability of the fixtures. I can summarize that it was a successfull showcase. We use Prolights products in TV, live events and architectural applications and the products we have in our stock are performing extremely well on all these occasions.
