EXHALE arrived in Tirana for the first time. Created by Belgian techno DJ and producer Amelie Lens, EXHALE began as a series of club nights at Labyrinth Club in Hasselt. It has since grown into a global community devoted to uncompromising rave culture, with showcases at major venues and festivals across Europe. For the occasion, the format brought a large-scale show to Sheshi Italia, an open-air square in central Tirana. There, Amelie Lens made her debut in the Albanian capital, turning the square into a techno arena with powerful sound and an immersive atmosphere in sync with the music.
The lighting design was created by ASLV, PROLIGHTS' distributor in Albania, which built the rig around the brand's fixtures. Their design played a key role in shaping the experience, moving from deep, atmospheric moments to intense, high-energy drops. Every light was synchronised to the music to heighten the emotion of the night.
At the core of the setup were 112 SunBlast 3000FC LED strobe and blinder units, which defined the look of the stage. The fixtures were mounted in pairs along the vertical towers flanking the central LED wall and arranged in horizontal rows across the side trusses, surrounding the DJ booth. With each unit able to switch between strobe, blinder and flood, and its LEDs controllable in individual sections, the fixtures worked both as a lighting system and as a graphic element on stage. Across the night they shifted from saturated reds and deep blues to warm whites, unleashing full-intensity bursts on every drop and flooding the square with light.

Above the towers, 24 Sunblast FLX modular LED strobes were rigged on the roof truss, extending the design upwards and adding further rhythmic punch. Their linear white beam, recalling the filament of classic xenon strobes, delivered sharp flashes in sync with the beat, while the colour plate added soft washes in the calmer passages of the set. Sharing the same roof truss, 2 Astra Profile600IP LED moving heads completed the rig, lighting the stage from above and following the dynamics of the performance, their IP65 rating making them well suited to the open-air setting of the square.
At the DJ console, 3 Smart BatWash battery-powered LED wash lights bathed the booth in rich colour, their wireless operation allowing them to sit right at the heart of the show, without adding cables to the stage. At stage level, 2 PanoramaIP WBX IP-rated LED moving heads were placed on the floor in front of the console, shifting from tight beams cutting through the haze to wide washes that wrapped the artist in light.

From the strobes along the towers and trusses to the fixtures above and beside the DJ booth, the PROLIGHTS rig brought the visual impact of a major techno festival to a square in central Tirana. The brand's fixtures confirmed their place as the ideal choice for demanding open-air productions.
