Lumina Electronic Festival powered by PROLIGHTS

The historic Albanian city of Korçë, known for its vibrant cultural scene, recently hosted the Lumina Electronic Festival, where music and technology fused into an immersive environment powered by PROLIGHTS. Lighting design by Florind Tenolli, operated by Enis Tafaj, transformed the venue into a breathtaking visual experience, with lighting synced to the pulse of electronic music.

Set in an open-air space, the production relied on an all-LED, outdoor-ready system to give visual form to the electronic rhythm, with crisp geometry and fields of colour. IP-rated fixtures provided the resilience needed against dust and moisture. The lighting system shifted naturally from narrow aerial beams to wide, enveloping washes, delivering precise pixel-mapped looks and rapid transitions in step with the festival's evolving tempo.

At the heart of the design, PanoramaIP WBX fixtures carved tight shafts and opened out into wide, uniform washes, using pixel-ring effects to draw movement above the crowd. Jade hybrid moving lights added pinpoint beams and crisp spots to create contrast and highlight the show's key moments.

For moments of emphasis and audience lift, SunRise 2IP blinders delivered warm, tungsten-style light with IP-rated reliability, while SunBlast 3000FC units built visual impact with high-intensity strobes.

Stage colour balancing and backdrops were refined with EclCyclorama 050 soft-edge units, balancing RGB with warm-white control to maintain natural skin tones and high colour rendition. Along the stage architecture, Lumipix 15IP and LumiPix 12UQ linear bars provided a broad canvas for dynamic sequences, gradients and mapping, while Lumipar18qpro ensured uniform washes and a subtle uplight that unified the look.

The result was a cohesive visual identity that elevated Korçë's festival experience: seamless in rhythm, bold in form, and delivered by a PROLIGHTS lighting system designed for outdoor events.
