Kënga Magjike, the long-running Albanian music competition created and hosted by Ardit Gjebrea and organised by Televizioni Klan, reached an important milestone with its 25th edition.
On the occasion of this special edition, bringing together both established artists and emerging talents, a complete PROLIGHTS package was deployed. At the heart of the project were 60 newly added Astra Hybrid330 fixtures, selected as a key element of the lighting design, joined by 70 PanoramaIP Spot, 50 PanoramaIP WBX, 20 Astra Profile600IP, 61 Unico and 16 Razor 440. Together, these moving lights formed the backbone of the rig, combining beams and effects to deliver impactful aerial looks and a camera-optimised key light, designed to enhance the show both for the live audience and for broadcast.
The lighting design integrated seamlessly with the set's strong graphic and architectural character, built around large geometric shapes and linear lighting elements that defined its profiles. In order to deliver the striking visual impact that characterised the production, the stage lighting was further enhanced by 50 EclProfile FS ellipsoidals, 60 Stark 400 LED wash fixtures featuring linear zoom and pixel control, 25 Lumipix 15IP LED bars and 20 LumiPix 12UQPRO LED bars.
Completing the rig were 60 Smart BatWash, 10 EclPanel TWC and 40 LumiPar 12IP fixtures, adding further options for consistent coverage and fast scene transitions throughout the show.
The supply of the lighting package was handled by ASLV, official distributor of PROLIGHTS in Albania.
The breadth of the PROLIGHTS rig helped shape a distinctive visual identity that echoed the show's geometric set design, reinforcing its bold lines and depth throughout the production. Built to perform equally well in the room and on camera, the system delivered a strong, consistent look for both the live audience experience and the broadcast requirements.
